he he this was too funny. Cole was just determined to play in Lina's water bowl. Finally after about 80 times of saying "no" I figured I would teach the lesson another day and catch this on tape. Oh what a slippery slope....

The Zoo!

Our first trip with Cole to the Zoo was just awesome. Perfect day outside, perfect company, just perfect. We headed out in the morning thinking all of the kidos would want their afternoon naps at least, but they were all so good we kept right on going. the last time Adam and I went to the zoo we took about two hours, this time we went all day and could have stayed longer. It was so great to see his eyes light up seeing all of these new things!

Fun Fun Fun

Hello! Here are just a few pics of our little boy having lots of fun! I love the monkey hat Aunt Annie got this for Coley and he actually didn't rip it off :) I also wanted to share a picture of his first time eating rice (wow, the stuff I find exciting now!) and the last one is the CUTEST! We were getting ready for Amy's good friend's bachelorette party and Coley got a hold of a boa too cute!

First Airplane Ride!!!

WOW! Our first trip to PA with Cole was lots of fun. He was so excited to me his family and to see Grammy and Pappy! This was also Cole's first time meeting his Uncle Eric (Cheeks). He did OK. Of course as new parents we were slightly overwhelmed. unfortunately we only could stay for a few days and there was lots of people to visit. It seemed as though he was just a bit overly stimulated, but when we got home we found out he actually had his first ear infection. Poor little man! We are so excited to see everyone from PA again, especially because a few short weeks after Coley gained two more cousins, Breckin and Julian!

Thank you God for Cheesecake (my first trip to church and the cheesecake factory)
I hope we teach Colby to always thank God for all the great gifts he gives us and one of those gifts has been the person who invented cheesecake, thank you GOD!!!

Grammy, Pappy, and Nona OH MY...

Cole loved meeting his Grammy and Pappy for the first time, but I think they were even more excited. It was great to spend a whole week with Adam's parents, I only wish they could see him more. They had a great time loving on him and it was great seeing them just taking him in.

I was so excited that Cole arrived before such a monumental day in our country's history! My Mom and Sis took off the day so we could all celebrate together. New beginnings are happening everywhere I guess.

What an awesome day! Andrea came by to take Cole's first professional pics and he was just perfect. I get stopped a lot and people tell me he is adorable and then ask if he is a boy or girl. Much to my suprise, this doesn't offend me it just reinforces what I know to be true he is the prettiest baby I have ever seen and these pictures prove it. Can you believe that this was Andrea's first time taking pictures of a newborn? She was amazing. If anyone is intrested and lives in the area I have her contact info for your own pictures!

Our First Morning Together

What an awesome day this was. It was our first time together away from all of the poking and prodding of the hospital staff. We actually were quite comfortable on our own and did great. Not much sleep was had, but after a while he let us put him down and have some real sleep. It was amazing waking up to our new family. Seeing Adam, Cole, and the puppy Lina all sleeping there, I knew my life had really begun.
